Rebecca Ozuna - Data Tracking and Assessment Specialist
Rebecca Ozuna is the Data Tracking and Assessment Specialist at Reagan High School, PLC lead of the World Geography department, Sponsor of National Honor Society, and has three years' experience teaching AP Human Geography and Pre-AP World Geography. She received recognition for her outstanding instruction of AP Human Geography from HISD in 2014-2015 based on her students’ AP exam performance for her first year of teaching the subject. She was also recently nominated for Teacher of the Year at John H. Reagan. She works closely with all subject areas, conducting regular trainings on creating assessments, and analyzing educational data.
Ms. Ozuna utilizes her renowned organizational skills in all her many jobs as well as various campus ventures such as the IB MYP advisory committee and the PowerUP team on her campus. She holds a B.A. in history from the University of Texas at Austin.
She is the smallest teacher in the World… Geography department. For someone so small, she has great passion and dedication for her work. She is also the only person known to be a member of Ravenclaw and Gryffindor simultaneously.
