Tricia Aguas - Teach Like a Champion/Science Instructional Practice Coach
Tricia N. Aguas is the Teach Like a Champion (TLaC)/Science Instructional Practice Coach and Science department chair at John H. Reagan High School. She currently teaches seniors in Environmental Systems and AP Environmental Science while working closely with other teachers in the science department in all things curriculum and instruction. Of all the teacher leaders at Reagan High, she has been teaching there the longest, joining the faculty in the 2000-2001 school year. Her first five years of teaching were spent at a small private school in her hometown in the Philippines. She recently became a United States citizen but is very proud of her Filipino roots.
She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of the Philippines and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas – Houston.
She is a full time wife, mother, and teacher leader, and part time karaoke superstar!
